DELIVERY
Normal timing of delivery
Orders received before 1200pm (noon) on Monday to Friday will be despatched on the same day.
Orders received after 1200pm (noon) will be despatched on following day.
Orders received on Saturday and Sunday will be despatched on Monday.
Delivery costs
In order to keep delivery charges to a minimum, total weight not exceeding 4kg will be despatched by Royal Mail (1st & 2nd class "packets"). Postal charges are in accordance to Royal Mail rates by weights so that you do not pay too much for a small item, for eg a packet of 20x Polytop pins costs only £2.14 in delivery charge. This includes a small handling fee for cost of packaging and other charges incurred.
Anything above 4kg will be despatched next day by our nominated courier company at a flat fee of £9.50.
Courier service
Our main couriers are currently Aspray and UPS . For deliveries via courier, the delivery address need to be a company address, with someone to sign for the parcel, otherwise goods will be returned to FixDirect resulting in severe delay in your delivery. It will not be possible to deliver the parcel without a signature. You must ensure someone is available at your chosen delivery address to receive the goods.
Overseas deliveries
We usually deliver overseas via UPS standard service (air freight). This usually takes between 5 to 10 working days depending on the country of destination. We will keep you informed if it takes longer than this period.
The delivery address need to be a company address, with someone to sign for the parcel, otherwise goods will be returned to FixDirect resulting in severe delay in your delivery. It will not be possible to deliver the parcel without a signature. You must ensure someone is available at your chosen delivery address to receive the goods.
If you would like to order in bigger volume and shipped via sea, please contact us and we can arrange it separately from the factory. Your query or order will be passed to SEAC to quote, process and ship. You can find more details in the SEAC site.
Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply contact us and return it to us within 7 days. We do not pay delivery charges on returns. We cannot accept any parcels freight collect or COD. Returned item must be in "new" condition unless damaged. Once the return is received, we will reimburse refund in full.
