Shipping Delays
UK docks are currently struggling with congestion, causing major delays to imported goods getting to retailers and manufacturers. There are several reasons for the delays including:
- The Covid pandemic
- A huge influx of import traffic due to businesses replenishing stock after the lockdown and making stockpiles before the Brexit transition period
- Increase in unloading times as containers are now being thoroughly sanitised

Just like many others, Fix Direct has also been affected by these delays and are currently waiting on the import of raw materials to arrive at the docks.
During these unprecedented times, Fix Direct has received a huge demand for products. All of our colleagues are continuously working hard to meet deadlines; however, with so many affecting factors, some delays are inevitable.
